Dynamic HTML - CSS, Javascript and DOM
|
Topic:
As ColdFusion developers, we're used to developing cutting-edge
software that is quick to develop and easy to maintain. But if
the user can't figure out how to use it or feels that the system
is too slow and cumbersome, all of your hard work may well go to
waste. The fact is that, no matter how powerful and intelligent
the software, if the user experience is poor, the software will
go unused or will contribute to user frustration.
In this presentation, we'll explore the 4 technologies that
together are called DHTML (HTML, CSS, DOM and JavaScript). We'll
cover a brief introduction to each technology and show how, when
combined, we can improve the user experience in ways not normally
associated with web applications.
